Zach Wheeler - Owner
Hey, I’m Zach, and I’m proud to bring Off Leash K9 Training to the Tyler and Longview area!
I’ve spent years working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities, helping owners build better communication and create well-behaved, reliable companions. My training philosophy is centered around clear communication, consistency, and making training practical for everyday life—not just something your dog does during a lesson.
Whether you have a young puppy that needs a solid foundation, an energetic dog that needs more structure, or simply want better obedience and reliability from your best friend, I’m here to help. I’m passionate about helping people understand their dogs and giving owners the tools and confidence to continue their training long after our time together. When I’m not training, I’m usually spending time with my wife, Holly, who is also a professional dog trainer, and our dogs.
I’m excited to serve the Tyler, Longview, and surrounding East Texas communities and help as many families as possible enjoy a happier, more obedient dog. Let’s get your dog trained, reliable, and ready for anything!
Holly Wheeler - Owner
Holly began her career working with dogs in a veterinary hospital in Edmond, OK at the age of 16. That early experience gave her a strong foundation in animal care and behavior and quickly made it clear that working with dogs would become a lifelong passion.
After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, Holly returned to Edmond and continued working in the veterinary field before transitioning into professional dog training. When she discovered Off Leash K9 Training, it was a natural fit, combining her understanding of canine behavior with her passion for helping dogs and their families build stronger, more connected relationships.
Over the course of her career with OLK9, Holly has worked with hundreds of dogs and their families, helping owners improve communication, build confidence, and achieve reliable obedience in a wide range of real-world environments. Her approach is both results-driven and relationship-centered, with an emphasis on giving owners the tools and support they need to maintain their dog’s training for years to come.
Today, Holly is proud to bring that experience to East Texas as an owner of Off Leash K9 Training Tyler alongside her husband, Zach. Together, they are committed to providing Tyler-area families with professional, dependable dog training and the same high standard of care that has guided Holly throughout her career.
Patrick Callahan - Trainer
Patrick is a passionate, enthusiastic dog lover and experienced caregiver who has been fostering and training dogs since 2019. Patrick lives on a farm which provides a peaceful, distraction‑controlled setting ideal for socialization, recall work, confidence building, and rehabilitation.
Patrick is known for his engaging style, consistent methods, patience, and a keen ability to read canine body language. Comfortable working with puppies, adolescent dogs, anxious/rescue dogs, and common behavioral issues as well as advanced manners.
